But first… let’s rewind a bit. 

In August of 2019, I was at Equator Coffee in Mill Valley, California shooting a few brands with an old client. As we were finishing up, a young woman came up to us.

She held up her phone to my client and said, “Is this you? I follow you on Instagram.” She glanced over at me.

“Wait, you’re her photographer, right? I follow you too! My name is Maria. I wasn’t going to come up and say hi but I’m starting this new podcast called Mdrn Day Muse and I would love for the both of you to come on it!”

The day she interviewed me was the first day I said I was going to launch my website, and it was also the day I learned about Anna Vatuone.

December 2020: I was finally at a point where I was ready to step out of procrastination and into action so scheduled a “Clarity Call” with Anna.

I wasn’t in the position to spend a large chunk of money and commit to Anna’s program, but worst-case scenario, I would get a few insights on how to move forward with what I wanted to do. And still, I was open to a miracle.

THE MORNING AFTER, THE MONEY LANDED IN MY HANDS.

I had lunch with someone dear to me and the first thing he said to me was, “You’re going to leave today with $2,000 in your hands. You are going to do incredible things in this world and I think you will use this money better than me.”

No. I couldn’t do that. No one has ever just given me this kind of money for the hell of it without even knowing what I wanted to do with it.

He wouldn’t let me leave the house without giving it to me and said if I didn’t take it he would mail it to me. “Stubborn,” I thought.

But I took it. I cried, screamed, and sprinted out of the house. I knew exactly where the money was going. 

SO I CALLED ANNA.

We were both in shock and yelled at each other on the phone, “THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN TO PEOPLE. PEOPLE DON’T JUST GIVE PEOPLE $2,000 OUT OF THE BLUE FOR NO REASON. THIS IS THE MIRACLE.”

She texted me after and said, “I am buzzing. This makes ME so excited to work with you! You’re going to get transformational results. I can feel it in my bones.
